How many guests can the house accommodate?

• The house sleeps up to nine guests across four bedrooms with five beds. 

Is the house pet-friendly?

• Yes. We welcome up to two dogs per stay. A $100 pet fee applies to cover additional cleaning. Any damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear may incur additional charges after departure. 

Is the house fully fenced? 

• The house is fully fenced in the backyard, by the fire pit, and in the outdoor entertaining area to the side of the house. The front and front porch is not fenced. 

How far the house from the beach?

• Havana on Pacific is approximately a 500m walk to the village centre, Killick Creek, the beach and Crescent Head's famous point break.

Can I walk to cafés, restaurants and shops?

• Yes. The house is a short walk to cafés, restaurants, shops, the beach and local attractions.

Is the property suitable for families?

• Absolutely. Havana on Pacific sleeps up to nine guests across four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, making it ideal for one large family or two smaller families. There are also plenty of undercover areas to park prams, scooters, bikes and surf boards.

Does the property include linen?

• Yes. All bed linen, bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, bath mats, tea towels and beach towels are included in the price of your stay. There is also a washing machine/dryer available plus an outdoor washing line too!

Is the pool heated?

• No, the pool is not heated.

Is there a fire pit available for guests to use?

• Yes, the house features two fire pits: a traditional wood-burning fire pit and an ethanol fire pit. Firewood can be purchased locally from the Bottle-O. A supply of ethanol is provided beside the BBQ, with additional bottles available for purchase if required.

Is parking available at the property?

• Yes. There is off-street parking available for up to two medium-sized vehicles or one large vehicle. Additional street parking is also available outside the property on Pacific Street and along Baker Drive. 

Does the house have Wi-Fi?

• Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Login details can be found in the house guide upon arrival.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

• Yes. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including quality appliances, cookware, crockery, utensils and kids cutlery.

Does the house have air conditioning and heating?

• Yes. Air conditioning and heating are available in the main living area and front room which reach throughout the entire property. Additional fans are provided during summer and portable heaters are available during the cooler months.

What time is check-in and check-out?

• Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out is by 10:00am. If you require an earlier check-in or later check-out, please contact us prior to your stay and we will do our best to accommodate your request whenever we can. 

What is there to do in Crescent Head?

• Crescent Head is home to one of the world's most iconic longboard breaks and offers something for everyone. Surfing, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, golf, tennis, lawn bowls, beach walks, national park adventures and simply relaxing by the ocean are all part of the experience. 

Are there supermarkets and essential services nearby?

• Yes. The village has a supermarket, butcher, pharmacy, medical centre, veterinary clinic and post office. The nearby town of Kempsey, just 15 minutes away, offers larger supermarkets, additional retail stores and hospital services.

What do I need to bring?

• Just yourself, and any personal items you may require for your stay. We cover all the usual essentials you'd expect, and a supply of pantry must-haves we know our guests find helpful (incl items like oil, tea, coffee, sugar, sauces, body wash).

Is there a washing machine? 

• Yes, there is a dual washing machine and dryer for your use throughout your stay and a supply of dishwashing liquid.
  

How do I access the property? 

• There property is conveniently located on the corner of Pacific Street and Baker Drive and accessible by a secure lockbox located at the property. You can't miss our palm tree out the front and our iconic yellow door!

Where do I collect my keys? 

• A secure lockbox code will be supplied before your arrival.

Can I cancel my booking?

• The terms of your booking is entirely dependent on the cancellation fee applicable at time of booking.

Is there a port-a-cot? 

• Yes, there is one (1) port-a-cot available. Please advise at time of booking if you require it. You will need to bring your own linen.
  
  

Is there a bath?

• Yes, Havana has a deep jet bath that's a great place to end the day. We also have an baby bath available on request.

Is there a supermarket nearby? 

• Yes, FoodWorks is just 3 minutes walk and has everything you need. The village has a bakery, butchery and multiple cafes, bars and restaurants so plenty to choose from. We have a comprehensive welcome guide you'll see at the property, and Claire and Kev are always happy to provide any further recommendations. 

Is the property accessible? 

• Although we would love to welcome guests of all abilities, we are not an accessible holiday house in Crescent Head with no wheelchair access. The property has two sets of small steps at front of the property, and small step on the side of the house, and a step from the main living area leading up to the bedrooms and bathrooms. If you feel like Havana might be a good option but have some questions, the owners would be happy to answer any questions before you book. 
  

Does the property have a view of the beach?

• While Havana on Pacific is a short walk to the beach, it doesn't have a view of the water. However, its walkable location to the village and the beach means no driving is needed to go to the beach, or restaurants and amenities, and no struggle to find a carpark especially during peak season.

How do you get to Crescent Head?

• Crescent Head is approximately 4.5 hours drive from both Sydney and Brisbane and just over 3 hours from Newcastle. It is 40 minutes drive from Port Macquarie. Port Macquarie Airport is a domestic airport that offers flights to multiple locations throughout Australia. The town of Kempsey is a 15 minute drive, and there is a train from Sydney and Brisbane to Kempsey that runs regularly.

Is it possible to only book a single room?

• No - Havana on Pacific can only be booked as an entire property.
